Kulwinder joined the Thompson & Ortiz PC team in July of 2020. She is currently a Senior Accountant preparing individual & business tax returns and completes accounting and bookkeeping for numerous clients. She earned her Enrolled Agent certification from the Internal Revenue Service in 2019 and is
authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Kulwinder is originally from Punjab, India, and moved to the United States in 2007. Mrs. Purewal holds a master’s degree in statistics from Punjabi University Patiala, Punjab, India. In addition, she holds a master’s in business administration with concentration in accounting from University of Phoenix. Before joining Thompson & Ortiz PC, she worked for another Denver based accounting firm doing bookkeeping, accounting, and preparing and reviewing business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.

Kulwinder likes to spend time with her family, and enjoys hiking, good food and traveling.
